Fantasy Football works in matchdays. A matchday usually covers several days – often it’s a Tuesday and Wednesday.
You can make substitutions while a matchday is in progress, so if you’re unhappy with how many points one of your Tuesday players has scored, you can sub him out in time for Wednesday’s matches – and you’ll end up with the points from that Wednesday player instead.
The same thing applies to switching captains.
